Our stories are made up
Unless a story is explicitly and clearly marked otherwise, every piece published on tales.bollyflixu.com is a work of fiction. The people in them do not exist. The conversations never happened. The houses, hospitals, villages, courtrooms and weddings were built out of words by a writer sitting at a desk.
Names, characters, businesses, organisations, places, events and incidents are either products of the writer’s imagination or used in a fictitious manner.
Any resemblance is coincidental
Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, to real businesses or organisations, or to actual events, is entirely coincidental and unintentional.
We write about universal situations — a mother and a daughter-in-law who cannot get along, a father who kept a secret, a marriage that ends three hours before it begins. These situations are common precisely because they happen to many families. If a story feels like it was written about someone you know, that is because the emotion is recognisable, not because we knew about them.
Stories inspired by real life
Some of our stories, particularly in the Real Life Stories category, are inspired by the kinds of events that genuinely occur — the sort of thing you might overhear, read about in general terms, or experience yourself.
Even in these cases, the specific characters, names, dialogue, locations, dates and outcomes are invented. We do not report on real cases. We do not use real names. We do not publish identifying details of any real individual. What we take from real life is the human situation, not the person.
We do not write about real, identifiable people
Flixu Tales does not publish stories about named public figures, celebrities, politicians, or private individuals. We do not publish stories that could reasonably be understood as accounts of a specific real person’s life. If a story on this site appears to do so, that was an error and we want to know about it.
Not news, not journalism, not advice
Our stories should never be mistaken for news reporting or factual journalism. They do not describe verified events. They should not be cited, shared or repeated as though they were real. They are also not advice — see our Disclaimer for the full position on that.
How we label our content
Every fiction story on this site carries a visible label. You will find a fiction notice at the end of each story, and our category pages state clearly what type of content they contain. If you are ever unsure whether something is fiction, assume it is, and write to us if you want confirmation.

Every story published here is original work owned by Flixu Tales and its writers. Copying, republishing, translating or redistributing our stories without written permission is not permitted. See our Terms of Service and DMCA Policy.
If you have a concern
If you believe a story resembles you, a family member, or a real event in a way that troubles you, contact us at editor@bollyflixu.com with the story title and a description of your concern. We will review it seriously and promptly. Where a genuine issue exists, we will edit or remove the story. We would always rather lose a story than cause someone real distress.
